The enterprise provided study, design and construction supervision and contract administration services. Jijiga Water Supply project supplied reliable potable water to the towns of Jijiga estimated to be 125,600 populations. The project comprised construction of civil works component and installation of Electro mechanical component including supply of pipes & Fittings.

KEBRE MENGEST WATER SUPPLY PROJECT

Oromia Region Water Resources Development Bureau, Oromia Regional state

[March 2008- June 2009]

The enterprise provided study, design and construction supervision and contract administration services to the project. Kebre Mengest Water Supply project supplied reliable potable water to the towns of Kebre Mengest and Shakisso over all estimated to be143, 115. The project comprised construction of civil works component and installation of Electro mechanical component including supply of pipes & Fittings.

SEMERA & LOGYA WATER SUPPLY PROJECT

[Sept 2006- Sept2008]

The enterprise provided study, design and construction supervision and contract administration services to the project. Semera & Logya Water Supply project supplied potable water to a total of 40,000 (25000 & 15000) people living in both cities including the surrounding area. The project comprised construction of civil works component and installation of Electro mechanical component including supply of pipes & Fittings.

FILTU AND HARGELE WATER SUPPLY PROJECT

The enterprise provided study, design and construction supervision and contract administration services to the projects. Filtu and Hargele Water Supply project supplied reliable potable water to the towns of Filtu and Hargele from Genale and Weib Rivers respectively for the coming two decades. The projects completed and begun to deliver service a total of over 106,082 populations (71400 & 34682). The project comprised construction of civil works component and installation of Electro mechanical component including supply of pipes & fittings.

By conducting serious and efficient drilling, construction and pumping test supervision of 110 boreholes, it is anticipated to come up with: Boreholes that penetrate the optimum aquifer thickness (minimize partial penetration of aquifers).

Borehole that can yield sufficient water (good discharge) for irrigation with less than down Boreholes constructed by using -quality construction materials like casings, gravel and observation pipes.

To conduct quality pumping test that can help the calculation of hydraulic parameters like aquifer transmissivity and storage coefficient.

To decide optimum borehole diameter and depth so as to extract water for irrigation with minimal impact on the environment.

To determine discharge that can be extracted from each borehole and to set appropriate criterion for electromechanical equipment.
